This video was create by Kuai Hindu Monastery for HSA leadership conference, Dharma Initiative. Dharma Initiative is annual leadership training conference where young Hindu leaders around United States are invited for professional leadership development. We are grateful of Satguru Bodhinatha for creating this video for us.

This year, 2011, topics we had workshops on were: Positive Affirmations, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People of Stephen Covey's a Hindu , Improving Relationships, Identifying and Maximizing Personal Strengths [Individual Development , Hindus/HSA in American Fabric, Speaking to Win, and Social Media's Role in Multiplying Efforts.

At, Dharma Initiative, we also take opportunity to bond with young Hindu leaders across United States. This year we had a ranch to ourself, with ATV's and later all of us had the opportunity to go for Jet Ski, it created a relaxing environment for everyone to talk and get to know each other!

  • Very interesting and encouraging. When I came to US in 1989, I devoured lots of self-help books (Wayne Dyer, Denis Whitley, Deepak Chopra, Stephen Covey, etc.). I read Bagavad Geeta in 1993 and found that most of these self help information is hidden in Gita. Its unfortunate that not many explaining Hindu texts to younger generation in a lucid way (like self-help gurus).

    Thank you for bringing the concepts behind most popular thoughts in the society.
