How can you be a Republican if you agree with the Democrats on everything and think Clinton was a good President, and I'm guessing Obama too.

You act like Powell somehow didn't get adored. He DID, his positives stayed high when everybody else's went down because of his sheer disloyalty and media PRing.

If Powell is off-limits because of his war record, why isn't McCain? Like most on the right, I don't like him, but for crying out loud Powell never had to deal with being tortured.

There's more to life than someone's race. Powell, like Obama, Jesse Jackson, and Kanye West, fails the character test.

Powell is a glorified scumbag and backbiter who thinks he's the victim. He's not. He is another racist black activist who betrays his colleagues both to save face and to be an all-around asshole. He never articulated ONE conservative position either. Is he exempt from criticism just because he's black? NO!

He's a (very light-skinned) black John Kerry. Both are blowhards who when you expose them, are downright cowards. That's a good comparison.

You know who DID make it to General? Norman Schwartzkopf. The REAL hero of the first Gulf War. A General cannot be weak or show reluctance. Powell did. Schwartzkopf didn't.

Schwartzkopf is not a glory hound. He didn't care about the fame. Powell is and everybody worshiped him like a god for the longest time, undeservingly.

I don't hate black people. There are ACTUAL conservatives that I like who are black. Not this milktoast, condescending, Democrat in all but name.
