Not only was it her night, the first guy, in this same program, acknowledged that Diana's Divas show was one of the highest-rated programs IN THE HISTORY OF THE CHANNEL.

I was there and yes she is a diva i won tickets front row and we were there for hourse because if she thought her hair was messed up, or audio was she would cut it but it was an amazing show glad i was part of it all the vips sitting in front of star jones and meeting missy elliot, who was supposed to be a part of the show but declined at the end

I think it's great that she has relentlessly insisted on being called "MS. ROSS" all these years. It's egomaniacal alright but really, Diana Ross deserves no less.

When did we get off on referring to celebrities by their first names, like we know them? We don't. They're professional entertainers and respect for them and professional distance should be maintained. I'm really fed up with people treating top flight entertainers and sports figures with such first-name casualness.

VH-1 is the WORST channel on television!

A lot of the "issues" surrounding this show would have been resolved by using 2 words:George Schlatter, legendary television producer("TCB" & "GIT:On Broadway").

He loves Diana Ross, would have collaborated w/ her, showing the knudknicks at VH1 how to create a really spectacular special.

Still, it did become on of VH1's highest-rated specials, so, It couldn't have been all bad.:)
