Also, let me ask YOU to record a video using a built-in webcam/microphone that's pointing AWAY from you. Kind of hard to kick the volume up. But thanks for the consideration. :)

Talk about "ignorance is bliss" - this idiot apparently knows NOTHING about Vista. Let me clue all of you in: Vista is NOT XP in a new, shiney wrapper. It's all based on the Windows Server 2003 Core, whereas XP was built-up from the Windows Server 2000 Core. Huge, Massive differences. Vista, by design, is vastly more secure that XP SP2, has a completely reworked graphics system that uses the 3D processing power of DirectX TO THE DESKTOP.

Next time, do your homework on the product.

Er... If I'm not mistaken, playing with it hands-on is more than homework could ever do. Vista is crap. The excessive RAM usage, higher video requirements, slow startup, and a huge amount of hardware issues lead me to believe that this is just what Microsoft thought would be nice to just screw consumers over with. I'm not stupid; Linux distributions and Mac OS X run much smoother, and generally behave better, than Windows Vista. :) Vista has an almost identical look to XP.

i was woundering i got my laptop upgraded to windows vista home premium and my graphics card couldn't enable windows aero and flip 3d and i hav an hp pavillion dv2000 and is it possible to upgrade my graphics card some 1 plz reply back.

Well you seem to know what you are doing with the editing considering you typed out a paragraph over 7 of the same animation.

Just up the volume levels when you are talking.. to liek %250.

and if you really want to be secure, don't use vista but upgrade to a macintosh running osx,which already has all the features in vista!!!
