In Australia every citizen has the same rights. There are indigenous land rights and vastly improved conditions and incentives for indigenous Australians. Plus they are FREE to VOTE IN ELECTIONS and FLY THEIR FLAG!!! Now please do us all a favour and vacate West Papua. Leave the West Papuans to govern West Papua.

More than 20 people were reportedly arrested in Indonesia's Papua as they

raised the outlawed "Morning Star" separatist flag.

A spokesman for the United Front of West Papuan People's Fight, says the

group was marking the anniversary of their declaration of independence.

Indonesia won sovereignty over Papua, formerly a Dutch colony, in 1969 after

a referendum widely seen as a sham.

Indonesian government have spent billion to build schools, churces, bridges, and hospitals. Native Papuans as well as migrants from other Indonesian islands have lived in peace and prosperity for decades.

Now a small group of West Papuan aboriginal people want independence? DREAM ON MATES! You are better off under Indonesian established and civilised rule.

@billisnowy @billisnowy no western media are allowed in "West Papua". Why do you think that is? There is and has been systematic genocide since the 1950s. In fact the Indonesian Army are paid bonuses for killing tribal leaders who actually have the courage to raise their voice and have an opinion and want to be free. Schools, churches, bridges and hospitals are for the relocated Indonesians. Indigenous people are NOT trusted and have limited access to these facilities if any access at all.
