'Ya know, even though this flick came out back in '84, I swear listening to this classic song takes me back to late-80's BK (BROOKLYN!) on a cool, rainy Saturday night. Walking down Broadway (you know which one! :-)) with moms to get pizza, or even riding the 'J' to Eastern Parkway with her to her girlfriend's crib. I bet this tune was playing out of somebody's boombox or ride by that time. I just didn't know anything about it yet. Even though crazy, simple times in the boroughs then, man.

I like this flick! Classic 80's NYC! Even though I was young, I remember Brooklyn just like that at night a little over 20 years ago. I wish they featured some train scenes in this movie, though. Since this was filmed on-location in NYC. (Not some dumb-ass Cali backlot! :-)) And THIS really needs to start showing this (Lol!) flick again! I haven't watched it--on THIS--since last summer. I WANNA SEE IT AGAIN!!!
