This clip is for adults only - it contains images not suitable for children.
This clip tries to show what this dissociative mind does when in crisis. It was done to try and get a focus on a project and complete something as a way of staying safe.

  • Amazing. It is exactly what I need right now to express myself. When I showed it to my psychiatrist, silence filled the room. Thank you for giving me the ability to communicate that which I have struggled to find the words to explain where I am - in crisis. I am comforted to know I am not alone. Sad that I am.

  • @allgirlfighter I'm glad the video helped. I'm sorry you're in crisis though, I hope the psychiatrist could offer some help after you showed them the clip and explained what was happening for you.

Please take care and reach out for help if it's needed,

    Sophie

  • Thanks, This video is very accurate when overwelmed and in crisis...I can so relate to much of it; you make really good videos. I wish i had your courage to make a video of my parts and how i coped along the way. Keep up the good work and hopefully your not in crisis now. Thanks Again.

  • @skittles835 do what you can, and what feels comfortable for you and your parts. Sometimes it's good to challenge the resistance to doing things, and sometimes that resistance is there for a good reason. Listen to your instincts.

    Take care,

    Sophie :)

  • Thanks for making this video. It's so accurate to how it feels. Hope you are well :-)

  • @IrishGurl6587 Thanks :) We've just had a few rough weeks, but we're hanging in there... Hope you're ok :)

    Take care,

    Sophie

  • Thanks for this. It helps a lot to understand.

  • I can't believe I haven't watched this video of yours before! It is very excellent. Very accurate. And very useful, a quick way to explain to a non-multiple/dissociative what goes on in the mind. The images you used are just perfect. (and thanks for putting a trigger warning) Putting it in my faves for quick referencing :)

  • @Kiabellie Thanks...

    Take care,

    Sophie :)
