  • No matter how you look at it apple is going to win. All the Trash that says screw apple is still talking about apple. They say screw mac and ipod but they are still talking about mac and ipod. Someone show say screw dell or go dell. Apple is the best. i'm a windows user until my next computer with osX.

  • Bstone: good post and that's what sparked this video since we were all in vegas at where everyone but apple was and what's the buzz word APPLE IPHONE...

  • Yeah, I'd be freaking, too, if my business depended on competing with Apple. The ravings of dinosaurs sinking in the tar pits...

  • ROFL good one dinosaurs sinking in the tar pits...

it reminds me of Buffalo running over the edge of a cliff.

I'm sure everyone will run out and buy up all the 1.0 Iphones and 2.0 will still have last years features...

  • Yes hate Apple because you can't play games on it.

Back when Apple was great(yes you fucktards, the first flight simulator made was for Mac before Microshaft bought it) you people were like " yes Apple cannot do math like PCs can ". When Apple concentrated on being the best computer for doing serious work (I use a Mac for programming), PCs moved to games.

    Oh What an IRONY.

  • Hey can I have the same drug you're high on? (bye from a non-apple-fan-at-all)

  • sucker

maybe in america you have 2MP phone and you say yeay, in EU you say yeay when you have a phone with 5MP. Funny to see all those people say stupid things about the iPhone. I think those three persons laugh a lot less now days about the iPhone. Just wait till the second and thirt generation comes up. Wait till december kids :).

  • Scoble is a Microsoft fanboy and so are the other two obviously lol. I'm getting an iPhone and switching to Mac woot, I plan to get a MacBook Pro before the Education Discount ends!

  • well.. a good review gives a positive and negative side of the story.. i never heard a single positive thing about the iphone...(btw.. if the battery is dead.. everyone knows theres a replacement for that!!*stupid*) my coment BAD REVIEW btw.. to all people out there.. dont be so gullible to the response of people with a gud suit.. try it out for urself..go to a cingular store and check it out.. im not saying buy one.. but consider the new technology and the ideas of the iphone..^_^

  • Its hard to take anybody who buys an iphone seriously. It just screams "im a gullible consumer whore who just spent upwards of $600 on a cell phone on the basis of hype and ignorance" im sure there will be many disapointed customers when the edge network doesn't match the speed shown in the adds. Wifi hotspots are not widespread enough to be a consistant solution unless your using your phone for internet access at home....and that would just be silly

  • i just bought an iphone yesterday. as a product(industrial) designer i am impressed with the quality of the build, the thoughtfulness of the interface, and the stability of the platform.

however, this is not "the best" phone. there is no such thing. what it gains in interface and style is offset by price and fragility. your needs may differ from mine. i've already found that at home and work i access the internet through its wifi connection for free and faster than ev-do or 3g.

  • i have owned 4 phones over the past 8 years. each one for an average of 2 years. i have never once replaced the batteries an any of them. granted, batt life sucked at the end of 2 years- but i wasn't even close to spending $50 on a new batt for my motorola when a replacement was 6 months away. i even had the option to add memory to my v710. but i didn't. even if i had, it would have been what, 2 maybe 4 gigs anyway.

that said- i don't feel "stuck" with anything.

  • I dont give a damn about ths iphone crap! Im an audiophile. I want music on a dedicated unit. Im also an art enthusiast. I have a 10megapixel Canon. I just need a celphone to txt&call, w/at least an organizer & camera just in case. I dont want any frills on my phone. Who needs iphone anyway?? Only those lame, dumb, gullible people like you!!!!! American advertisement shit!!!!!

  • A large part of what you're saying is true in terms of marketing. But! (1) Most dialing occures from your phonebook and (2) The numbers are SO HUGE when dialing, that it only takes a little bit of practice to dial without looking :)
