  • After all is said and done, it's all about the music, and the music is so very good. The tabloid background detail of Wagner's personal life is no concern of ours, and beneath any serious listener's attention. You can't bring the TMZ ethic to everything, z.

  • Calling all Wagner lovers… Hear Rene Papé, Gary Lehman and Violeta Urmana in a new recording of Wagner’s Parsifal with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky. Find out more on our channel ( mariinskylabel ) and go to the Mariinsky label website to hear some soundclips ( search for Mariinsky label )

  • saw this production last night at the ENO Coliseum London Staggering and Wonderful Sir John Tomlinson the voice of authority in a brilliant performance as Gurnemanz

  • "Existential drama about human existence" is really redundant.

  • don't like this production--patrice chereau is invading again with his avant garde sensibilites.

  • Thanks, GL
