  • Exacty - it's the playback at fault not the band - but what really pisses me off is that Wendy has been so sidelined that she is barely there - no wonder she decided not to record with Paddy any more

  • Fucking playback !!

  • @Aviva2121 I believe that Neil (and Martin?) had quit the band during that period.

  • probably their finest hour though no-one seems to know it?

  • I remember this when it was aired. I married my now wife later that year, Prefab Sprout and Andromeda were the soundtrack to our love. Aww! Love the band, love Paddy. The new album is fab.

  • Blame the BBC for the miming, not Paddy; who cares anyway when the aim of the appearance was surely to bring the work of this genius to a larger audience.

  • Nicely done link by Bob, ever the pro! Especially seeing as he probs didn`t know who they are.

  • That's not Neil Conti on drums! Who is that and I wonder why Neil wasn't there? I love Prefab Sprout; I love Paddy.

  • Great song - Paddy is a genius. He looks uncannily like Macca on here!

  • So sad that he lip-synched.
