IMHO this and FF2 (also for Gameboy) were 2 of the best RPGs ever created. Way back when gameplay was still more important that cool graphics.
I spent many a night staying up playing this lol...

4:42~ sadness(/_;) but beautiful...

@yoda1914 I was 11 and stopped playing the game cause I couldn' solve the palmtrees thingy (there was no internet)... After a whole year I went at it again and finally, out of PURE LUCK! hit the right 8 pattern...
Best game Ever for GameBoy even surpassing many other FF! This FF is a master piece and a total classic in the RPG world!

The game is simply amazing but the music is STUNNING! Very touching!

This was by far my favorite game on the original gameboy. In sheer quality and the way it influenced me it easily surpassed even pokemon, even though I was born right into the pokemon generation.

@elperretebueno you know what, elperretebueno? maybe you should make a dimensional machine and go live with them at the game...
-
@yoda1914 Actually I figured that out pretty quickly even when I was like 10 years old :)
-
Like this if it took you FOREVER to get the Palm trees and 8 LOL!!!!

Sword of Mana is a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure. FFA was the first game in what's called the "Mana" series in America, and the "Seiken Densetsu" series in Japan (the game's Japanese name was Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden). The remake changed the name to have Mana in the title while still referencing the original name ("Seiken Densetsu" means "Legend of the Sacred Blade"). Even in Japan, however, the remake lost its "Final Fantasy Gaiden" subtitle since it had become a new series.
