Another moving pictures favorite. Again, I'm wearing the Neil Peart hat in this video...It's just for fun...part of the tribute. Okay?

  • Ray I see you actually know how to properly stick a cymbal for crescendo. You at least had H.S. symphonic training or you are a natural. Lotta guys just hammer away w no dexterity.

  • Thank you! No symphonic training though...

  • hey ray good job but onthe intro its the same hi hat pattern but with the ride also and on the bass drum parts you dont hit the crash

  • Thanks! I think he plays the hi-hat and ride simultaneously and the end only (like I did) and the beginning is hi-hat only (i'll have to check out some live videos of this) Your right about the crashes though..

  • what kind of crashes do you have?

  • Paiste Signatures NOW (and some Sabian Paragons in this video)

  • what kind of hi hats are those?

  • Epic...

  • As someone who is musically retarded, of all the instruments I wish I could play, it'd be the drums. I can't hold a beat for five seconds, so seeing someone do it, to me, is almost superhuman.

    Anyway, great job man.

  • Neils 30th Anniversary snare?

  • Are those Neil's signature Paragon cymbals? If so, are the set up the same as his drumset, or do you have them set up the way you want?

NICE job on Alex's solo part though... those snare parts get a little tricky.

  • Awesome, simply awesome

  • are those neil peart signature sticks? nicee

  • what kind of china is that?

  • ya , so... you almost can copy what a percussionist ( Neil Peart) is doing in this paticular rush tune. What is it that your brain can come up with? oooooohhh thats hard!!!! what do I do? what do I do???????
