Strongroom Recording Studios by Jamie Reid

The world famous Strongroom Recording Studios interior decoration is probably Jamie Reid's largest single piece of work, if viewed as a single piece. Many more rooms than (the now redesigned?) Pelirocco Hotel. The decision to fly in the face of the clinical, neutral interiors of conventional studio design has paid off, with clients constantly eulogising Strongroom's inspirational decor. The idea came from owner Richard Boote, who says, "Having spent to long hours sitting around in boring studios I wanted to build something which was different and exciting, without compromising in any way on technical ecellence." Audio is a combination Acid Pro sample sequencing and a contribution from Jamie describing the project. Video is mostly still shots manipulated in Adobe After Effects with a Jamie Reid interview fitted in as "picture in picture".
