Dalla Corte is celebrating its ten years of activity on the premises of its first plant. Protagonists of the night: Slow Food organisation, good music and three coffees that are extracted at their best with the multi-boiler technology.

Dalla Corte invites all coffee lovers to the "proof of taste night" taking place on Saturday, 22 October: an event characterised by taste and entertainment hosted by Dalla Corte's old production plant in via Candiani 127, Milan -- that same Bovisa area that in the last decade has turned from a suburb to an extremely vital district thanks to the settlement of a university and new businesses.

The rooms facing the small, central yard still recall the activities they hosted: production, tests, shipping, research, storage, an equipped area for courses and tastings and the offices.

This is the ideal setting for the celebration of Dalla Corte's first ten years of activity -- here in 2001 the evolution espresso coffee machine was developed, followed by the dc pro: the success of these two machines has required the Company to move to a larger plant in Baranzate (at the outskirts of Milan) in order to deal with the growing Italian and international demand and start the production of coffee grinders of which dc one, the first model, is being presented at Host 2011.

Let's focus on the event: it is starting at 7.30 p.m., when the catering service is offering a selection of the most typical Italian wines and food, such as a Lombard cheese -- the Stracchino delle valli Orobiche, a Slow Food Presidium -- and the wines of Montauto wine-producing company, located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma -- among which the Vermentino IGT Maremma toscana has been awarded by Slow Food as one of the best "daily wines" in Italy.

Finally, a scrumptious dinner will be concluded by a good, or rather, excellent espresso! A coffee from the Huehuetenango highlands - Guatemala (the first product to obtain the international Slow Food Presidium label) roasted by Andrea Trinci, Kontra (Denmark) and Solberg & Hansen (Norway) blends and a decaffeinated blend by Demus: the multi-boiler technology of Dalla Corte machines allows to spot the ideal temperature for each coffee extraction and therefore a perfect cup of coffee is always obtained.

In via Candiani the prototypes of Dalla Corte machines, the samples of the current production line and an exposition section dedicated to the company's history are also being showcased.

The pleasant tastings and conviviality are being accompanied by ambient & lounge music first, then by the stunning voice of the Colombian singer Clara Velez and finally, from midnight on, by DJ Edo's music mix: fun is guaranteed!
