@ElectricPup Right...but you are not Swedish clearly. Me neither. Both languages are very similar and as I am Dutch too I find Swedish an easy read and somewhat understandable. Weatherforecasts (they talk slower) in Danish and Swedish are 95% understandable to me and I never had a lesson in any of them. They are so similar it was almost shocking to me.

Waar heb ik beweerd dat dit het groot dictee der Nederlandse taal is?
Je vraagt aan mij "je mag die punten in je reet steken voor die fout". Welke antwoorden zijn denkbaar op die vraag?

Pardon, ik realiseerde me totaal niet dat ik hier met het groot dictee der Nederlandse taal bezig was!
Je kan ook inhoudelijk reageren snotneus. :P Ik weet niet hoe lang jij in NL woont, maar voor mij is het Nederlands de vierde taal, dus ik acht mezelf behoorlijk sterk in een taal die ik pas zo laat in mijn leven ben begonnen te leren. Maar goed. je mag die punten in je r**t steken voor die fout? :P

no, Dutch is totally different from German, different sounds and grammar. Only some words look the same. You can't compare them...

Dutch isn't like Swedish at all. Quater of the words are German, French and English, the other quater is words they've made up. How do I know? Because I'm dutch.
