I am a pastors wife, and I have been where you were with having to get past the hurt, so that I could move on, and so that my motives could line up with my desire to help others and please God. Good message!

@Melleo2009 YESSS! I agree with you. A church is more than just the building and that's people's common misconception. A relationship with God is more than just participating in the events of the church. But sometimes we as Gods people need to move past the building, past the denomination, and past the limits and rules that we lock God behind. When we get passed that a relationship like no other will build and build. I love my church don't get me wrong, I just don't live for my church.

@TheAlisha1012 I believe also to church isn't neccessary for a person to find "GOD". I believe that a personal relationship can be formed with HIM through your consistant search for a better life through the WORD. If you believe in "GOD", if you acknowlegde to yourself and HIM that through HIM all is possible....you will be just fine.

Now n days, it seems that everyone at church are competing with each other and proving them selves to one another. Then after that is over, they pray for the same prayer from 10 yrs ago. They fell to relize when the signs were presented, they were concentrating on each other. The bible was written by man and rewritten by poets and writers appointed by King Charles James IV. The bible was written to create a certain lifestyle. That lifestyle is apparent in today's christians... i want NO part of

@4playbhaven I understand what you are saying and also what you are not saying, my message purpose was to shed light on my healing concerning the issue. I know that whether muslim, atheist, buddist, christian, I have learned that Hurt people, hurt people. I t is necessary to free ourselves of hurt so we can become the best us we can be. Everyday I try to love people where they are, feeding the hungry is a passion, God can move outside of the church. the ? is are we open to be used by Him!

Its CRAZY how God works, this is something he has been placing on my heart and today i find this... wow. i agree with you and i also agree with not leaving the assembly of ourselves together in Christs name, but he also says where there are two or three gathered he will be in the midst. its not a church you need to go to but even two people make a church. you will not be forsaking the aseembly if you gather with a few friends or people close. God is not upset if we are not in a church building.

@TheAlisha1012 So you thought you came on my page for you , Nope You found my video to encourage me, I was sitting in bible study last night and the preacher said don't do ministry alone, and you confirmed for me that I am not alone in this quest to share God, I don't feel what I do is ministry. I believe I do what God gives me to do as part of my lifestyle. Soooooooo in saying that THANK YOU!

The church is not full of angels just like the world is not full of devils. There is no perfect church, but through the leading of the Holy Ghost, you can find one that is perfect for you. I have been in ministry a really long time and I have seen the best and the worst...but the Bible still commands that we forsake not the assembly of ourselves together. I will not leave my Father's house to wolves, so I develop the skill of separating church business from the business of the church. Peace!

@ContinualPraiseNFBC I appreciate your comment , separating church business is a valid point; moreover, I believe people fall prey to church business, placing God's business on the back burner. God is constantly placed in this box, and there is no way to keep Him confined to the four walls of Church business. Too many times ministries get wrapped up in their agenda's that we forget to share who God really is. Thanks for the food for thought.
