Halyard Mission "Forgotten 500 Reunion" Lest We Forget 2009

The Halyard Mission "Forgotten 500 Reunion" was part of the "Lest We Forget" WWII Re-Enactment celebration and commemoration in Michigan in June of 2009. This photo slide show video is comprised of photos taken on June 17th and June 18th, 2009 of Americans and Serbs that came together to honor the "Halyard Mission" operation of WWII, one of the greatest rescue missions in the history of warfare. All photos and slide show created by Aleksandra Rebic. This video is dedicated to Arthur "Jibby" Jibilian, of Halyard, who, as of this date, February 26, 2010, 66 years later, continues to work tirelessly to honor the legacy of General Draza Mihailovich and the Chetniks for saving the lives of over 500 American airmen in 1944.
