@MrThembones Yes models are ugly. Sprites are better...
What I mean is that I agree with you is that Duke3D and Doom are 3D because of the levels. In 2D you can move left and right, here however you can move everywhere...

the original may not have been quite 3D but compared to the newer version I think the original looks much better with it's detailed image. Dont ever say newer things always look better, thats bullshit n this picture in 1:48 prooves it!

yes it was, the walls were, as well sprites having 3D movments, as well other things in the game.
Same with wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, etc.
And reguardless, it looks better without the resolution pack by far.

@MrThembones if you put it that way but it wasn't full 3d the enemies where just like dartboard enemies

@m14g He meant though they were two dimensional sprites they were animated from all angles, aside from certain bosses you were never meant to see from some angles. The enemies were also able to move in three dimensions instead of being teathered to the floor (The could fly, jump, ect.)
