(See part 1 for the beginning) The very first video of the Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya back in 1987 when he was 30.
Filmed on an open mountain road at Usui, this video is a perfect demo of his drifting skills on his AE86.
After this video, badly, the Drift King had his racing licence retired by the JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) because of this dangerous driving on the road.

  • best corner imho at 2:00

  • Hm.. looks like Happogahara?

  • good to see he started somewhere as well.

  • @SRPanda fast drift..... not gay show drift......

  • thats not usui, its a different place in nagano. Also, is there more to the video cuz i don't think it was only 6 minutes. Also, people don't know this, but bunta/takumi's AE86 in Initial d was based on tsuchiya's AE86 trueno. Tsuchiya had an all original(or minor tune with original bluetop, still 130HP) engine with just body, brake, and suspension upgrades, like bunta's AE86 in initial d(first and half of second stage)

  • Dam thanks for uploading this ! Legend right here lol

What did he do on the road that made him get retired!?
