I like the old TiVo intro more. I like watching the Tivolution of the TV. And it was nice seeing the TiVo dance and interact with stuff instead of clicking one of the Staples EASY buttons.

You only see it when your TiVo reboots... or if it locks up and you have to reset it. heh... I wouldn't mind getting that 5 minutes of HD storage back, to be honest. ;)

Does seem pretty long...but if the point is to introduce someone new to TiVo capabilities (and be somewhat entertaining), then it's more than sufficient.
You can probably skip it (if it acts like the old TiVos do) by hitting a key on the remote, too.
