your fucking stupid, first of all base cards are not worthless, if someone likes the player on the card, they would buy it(and ud masterpieces has beautiful base cards) people don't open boxes of cards to sell it on ebay right after dumbshit, its called COLLECTING

I'm looking to complete the base set of this product by buying boxes of it. I haven't opened anything yet, and I was wondering roughly how many BASE cards you get per box. It says that there are 18 packs of 4 cards each, but once you take out the hits and the inserts, how many base cards do you get from one box on average?

It depends on each box. Some may have more inserts and etc. I would guess around 55 or so base cards.
