Crazy Russian Threatens Secret Doomsday Machines

Russia's Parliamentary Speaker and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has threatened to destroy a part of the planet if Russia does not get its own way over key trade issues.

In a rambling tirade the flamboyant politician suggested that the recent Japanese earthquake and subsequent tsunami may have been a Russian response to Japans claims on the Kuril Islands.

In a rant that appeared to begin winding up over a suggestion by the interviewer that Russia was rolling over to Georgian imports, specifically wine, the Parliamentary Leader insisted that of the four capitals of the planet (Washington, Brussels, Peking and Moscow), that only Moscow had a future.
