I'm that kid that kneeled down a few times asking God what should I do with my life & I feel i'm like David in some way, I love singing & music but I don't believe I'm any good at it. So David thank you for giving inspiration to this kid from Miami that got a lot from this speech.

@grapeexmagoo You really took the words out of my mouth. I feel exactly the same way. David has influenced me so much. I think God gave him the gift of his voice so that he could influence all of us with his beautiful personality. He is included in my prayers at night. One of my greatest hopes is to meet him just so I can thank him in person for changing me.

When I think of what we would have missed if David had not auditioned for American Idol, Season 7, it saddens me. Thank you, God, for being there for David in his decision. How lucky we are to be a part of this brilliant journey that he's on...every day is a new chapter in his music career that he loves so much!
