he died from AIDS .. not from cancer! im studing photography and i know very well about him!

He was not a sick degnerate he is my uncles brother and he died of cancer. I know i'm related to him...

In Response to ssteacher33: It astounds me that you would even post such a comment. not only did mapplethorpe revolutionize the social commentary on homosexuality, but he also changed the face of documentary photography. other interesting fact that you may be interested in:
1) degenerate is the correct spelling
2) "that" does include an "a"
3) AIDS is the correct representation of the syndrome
4) if thats all you can say about him, you need to read a bit more, i hope you aren't really a teacher
