The roman empire fell because it was conquered. period. end of story. The leaders were rather stupid and arrogant. they couldve avoided many of their wars. But they were eventually conquered. Nations dont vanish from bankruptcy, this is seriously overestimating the importance of money. Economies dont just die either. The usd will have long term value as long as the US continues to produce useful things. And I see no reason to think we will magically stop doing that.
