There is actually a plant of whose name I can't currently remember, and if you touch the leaves, the stimulus makes the plant whither in only a second or two. We looked at one in Biology, because the plant did it through propping the leaves up with small sacs of fluid, then making them instantly hypo or hypertonic to whither or expand the plant, just like the shade plants.

One person forgot their bug spray.

@Mrgahoolefan So it would be ok if the sun in a movie never moves either? Just because it's a game, that doesn't mean I want to be less immersed in the world than if I were watching a movie. Hell, why have the sun at all then, if it's ok to not have it move. Then we wouldn't be having this conversation at all.
-
@Jipples12 Who cares if the sun never moves? It's a GAME!

actually edanna always made me nauseous, so did jnanin, guess it was the desert and jungle like appeal the ages had, same reason I wasn't too fond of riven.. I loved voltaic and amateria though! it was more myst like IMO. narayan was easily my favourite.

Yay, Edanna, my favorite lesson age.
In other news, I adore you, sir, but you have pronunciation issues. It's Eh-danna, not Ee-danna.

That water plant looks like a boob?

I understand what you mean about that sun and how it should move across the sky at some point, but maybe we're supposed to believe that since Atrus made this age, he just cheated and made the sun never move? Cheap explanation, but it can get the job done.
Was the accent you were making Steve Irwin?
If so nice attempt
(yes Im australian but I hated Steve Irwin anyway)

@kehnis Yeah I realized after the fact I made the American mistake of emphasizing the 'h' in the word 'here', instead of saying "and 'ere we can observe..."
