I remember the first time I heard country was when I was 8 years old in my babysitters car on the way to school. Never gave it a second thought when I was in my teens. Now that I'm older now, I can hear the meaning in these songs. This one especially. My kid is gonna hear country when he's 8 years old, and maybe he'll do the good thing and pick up on it quicker than his old man.
