My favorite piece is the Flapper! It is a doll that evokes emotions at many levels. When you first look at the doll you see a sexy doll in a provacative pose. Then you look at the face and see a "broken" woman that is distraught by her place in life. There were many dolls in their collection that evoked strong emotional response (happiness, sadness, fear, etc.). Like any good piece of art, this is the purpose - art will create an ambience or evoke a feeling or can create a mood..

They sound like real doll lovers. They had some gems there. Its not about value. I need to touch cuddle and enjoy them. If not whats the point? My faves are big baby or child dolls. They have to be REAL. They have to look like real life children and have personality. You know it when you see it. The artist has a way of doing that. Hand painted touches. No reproductions. No fixer uppers. I dont mind dirty or a few nicks. I would much rather that than any type of repair job.
