Joe: so, what's for lunch? (strokes her hair)
Dem: (escapes from his grip) here (smiles and hands him a paper bag)
Joe: (breathes in trying to guess what it is) is that...tuna?
Dem: (nods)
Joe: (smiles) yes! (opens the bag) you're the best! (about to take a
bite when the phone rings) (sighs, puts down the sandwich and picks up
the phone) Good afternoon Joesph Jonas speaking.
Nick: hey bro! Can I ask for a favor?
Joe: (staring at his sandwich)(sighs) what nick?
Nick: well, I wrote a song you think I could come by later and you
could listen?
Joe: sure nick, sure.
Nick: thanks joe! You're the best!
Joe: I know, I know.
Nick: see you later! (hangs up)
Joe: (hangs up and slowly moves his sandwich closer to his mouth)
(takes a bite) mmmm...that's delicious!
Dem: you like it?
Joe: (nods)
Dem: (stands behind him in his chair wraping her arms around him)
Joe: (about the wipe his face with his sleeve)
Dem: (stops him) dont you dare Joesph Adam Jonas!
Joe: (sighs) sorry
Dem: do you know how many shirts I find with food stains of the sleeves?
Joe: alot? (says innocently)
Dem: (nods) I swear you're like a little kid. (giggles and kisses his
cheek)
Joe: (chuckles) i know. so, christmas is coming up soon.
Dem: (smiles) i know. it'll be amy's second christmas and the boy's first christmas.
Joe: (sighs) too bad i missed amy's first
(A/N: amy was born right before christmas, and unless you dont remember demi and joe were seperated until a little after amy was born.)
Dem: but hey, at least you get to be there for the boys' first (smiles hoping he'll be happy)
Joe: (smiles a little) i guess your right (kisses her hair) ( looks at his watch and sighs) back to work for me. i might be late for dinner so don't wait for me, ok?
Dem: ok (about to leave)
Joe: (stops her and pulls her close to him and kisses her passionately)
Dem: (smiles between the kiss)
Joe: (cups her face and stroke hers cheek while he still kisses her)
Dem: (pulls away but leaves her lips close to his) you better get to work. (gives him a quick peck and leaves)
Joe: (smiles to himself)
JPov: i can't wait till we're married.
