Recently, soldiers placed on the map won't fight each other - I have no idea why this has happened, and it is making all my mapping and mission-making for FoW almost pointless. This is only a recent problem, though, so I think it can be solved.

Take a look and see if you can see anything I am doing wrong.

  • Stupid rookiee........... You have to put squads into diffrent players example: Nazis player 1; Allies player2 and then press start button in the corner and they will start killing each other

  • @DeutscheRevell Yeah, right - I thought the fact the video was in HD would enable you to see that *that is what I have done*...... (facepalm)....... =))

  • hmmm.....Yes, you solved it already, but to answer all the others who are ***** enough not to know this, set the "player" for each side as a different one.

  • @Hacks4chris Yes, I sorted it out. I should post the answer here, in case anyone needs to know. Basically, if you want to make a single-player game, or you just want to fight in the editor, only single player soldiers will spontaneously fight. If you use multiplayer ones, they can't see each other unless you change the view settings in breed from 'mp_soldier' to 'human'. Pretty annoying. MoW is different, though.

  • @KageToraUK will doing that (making the breeds from mp soldier to soldier affect multiplayer gameplay?

  • @Hacks4chris No, not if you do it in the editor: another [annoying] thing is that it won't save the modifications you made to the breed, so you have to do it every time. At least the game itself isn't affected.
