I dont know if they would make a new 8-series since the 6-series is already a pretty big coupe, its bigger than it looks.

That's why they don't make an M7, it would be to big and wouldn't have the M-Car characteristics, meaning the handling and performance.

That's how they were able to make a 1-series, since all the models keep getting bigger with every new generation.

It depends.

I've owned both. They're both nice cars so there is definitely no wrong answer. I think Mercedes spends time on luxury, BMW is for the person who loves to drive.

Personally, I love BMW. No going back.
