Wow, GREAT stuff my friend! Thanks for posting! :-)

I don't think he was taking credit for the look and style of the actual Temptations. I think he was talking specifically about the 'Temptations Review', because he followed by saying that when he joined the actual Temptations, he was told (probably by Paul and Eddie, BTW) to always play the part of a Temptation, so it's clearly something he learned and carried with him into his new group. Plus, I've seen him do other interviews, and he always shows mad love for the other Temps, even David.

The Tempts were already known for their "look, style, and dance" when Dennis came on board. I was disappointed that he did not give my fav Tempt, the late great Paul Williams, credit . Paul had the "vision" to live up to temptation with looks and dance so he choreographed and Eddie dressed them. Yet Dennis gave them no mention and acted as if the ideas were his. He only carried on with what the original Tempts started. So thanks Paul, Eddie, Otis, Melvin, David, and Al.
TEMPTATIONS FOREVER

Ali still sound fantastic. Dennis sounds good but doesn't have the power he used to at all.
It's not "otis wililams 'temptations'" It's The Temptations. The same group Dennis left in the 80's and Ali left in the 90's.
As for my opinion of the review vs. the actual group...well they do a nice tribute, but the current temps reign supreme IMO.

One thing to keep in mind--the Temptations did not win a Grammy until Dennis came on as lead singer. The Temptations gave Motown it's first Grammy with "Cloud Nine."
Will NEVER understand why people feel the need to say, "in my opinion," ("IMO") in a post with their name on it or next to it! Shouldn't we ASSUME it's your opinion since YOU wrote it??

I'm glad you like the post of the Temptation. You may know most of the original Temptation are from the South. Also, This is my first time seeing the Mississippi cha cha slide.
