Why must their be blame, all the things that people accuse horse racing of...none of it had anything to do with eight belles, no steroids, no previous injuries, she was barely tapped in the stretch and she beat 18 other colts, therefore she belonged in that field...its a horrific happening. Eight Belles death was unfortunate, but it wasnt anyones fault. People should be consoling and offering support, not accusing people of murder.

Listen to that fucking dumb ass trainer, "God Does Not Make Mistakes." God did not put that beautiful filly in that race, her money-hungry owners did. How many of those horses have to die before people realize that it's not about the beauty or the grace of the animals anymore. Those fucking owners will do anything to win, including pumping those horses full of steroids. If the horses can no longer make money for them, BANG! Then they collect their insurance and sooth their conscience. Pity
