Those are real maiko. They appear in other commercials. One of their names is Kikuyo, and that other girl is another maiko from the same okiya (Geisha boarding house).

it's just a commercial - of course they're just actresses. anyone can be dressed up to look like a maiko! and i love the fact they run right out of their okobo - it emphasises just how eager thet are to get the 'axe' guy ^^

hahaha, hilarious. I don't think it is supposed to be real. This is an Axe body spray commercial. The point is that any man who wears it will have women running after him sexually assaulting him. So I guess the point in this commercial that even maiko can be allured by the Axe Affect.
