Language learning is fun, good for the brain, and we can do it any time in our lives, here is a multilingual ramble on the joys of language learning. Something we can all do, especially today in the age of the Internet. The order of the languages is Russian, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Swedish, Spanish, Italian, German and Cantonese. I forgot Portuguese.

I watched your video "The Seven Secrets of Successful Language Learning". For me the most interesting way of learning language is chatting with friends and watching some video, in which speaking person has good, easy to understand pronunciation. For example, your video:)

    Thank you!

  • @SmiOlga Thank you.

  • @metiube Merci.

  • I'm 19 of Chinese and French descent, I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Wenzhouese and English. Currently learning Spanish.

Complimenti!

  • You're fantastic!! I'm 20, I'm Italian and I speak English, German, French and Spanish; now I'm learning Russian and Portuguese, und ich will viele andere Sprachen lernen!

  • Switching from language to language is usually very hard, you have all my respect, sir !

  • Very encouraging. English-speaking societies should put more emphasis on language learning as part of the general education requirements. I just started learning languages a few years ago and I went in thinking it would be hopeless to get even proficient in a few beyond basic phrases, but in about three years I became conversational in five new languages and basic in four or five others.

  • Hi Steve. I just want to say that I am so amazed by the authencity of your Mandarin accent.

    Greetings from Ontario~

  • Hi Steve. I just want to say that I am so amazed by the authencity of your Mandarin accent.
