Well put by Faiz Shakir. Something magical seems to happen with creationists (or semi-creationists), old-school conservatives etc where they bias the debate and expect to be able to provide flakey explanations themselves while demanding that the scientists, liberals etc who oppose them should be water-tight.

They're not blackballed. Its them that choose not to use the scientific method. Do you realize that if someone legitimately used the scientific method to disprove evolution, and prove intelligent design, that they would receive a nobel prize, and go down in history?

ID doesn't produce any research or evidence. They don't submit their ideas to peer review. Their ideas cant even beat Youtube guys.

I've read and seen every single argument for ID and ALL of them are lacking. As a study, it doesn't produce any evidence to prove its premise, only attempts at disproving evolution which it has miserably failed so far.

Go ahead. Hit me with your best piece of evidence, or argument. I can show you mountains in favor of evolution.

no, those in favor of ID want to circumvent the scientific method, not enact fairness. If ID really wanted its fair shake, it would go through the scientific gauntlet just like every other area of science.

And just so you know, Free Speech isn't being silenced as far as ID goes. You can say what you want. But science as in institution will not validate your claims based on the fact that you have an opposite viewpoint.

If ID wants to be taken seriously, it needs to generate EVIDENCE.
