Absolute perfection belcanto and in addicion great heart, very rare. It is amazing. I saw Gilda with maestro Domingo and so many beatiful makes me crying.

Instead of wasting time and energy on hacks like Netrebko, Fleming, and Gheorghiu... The MET Opera house should stage a fabulous production of Lakme, with gorgeous sets and costumes and get Julia Novikova to play the title role. Perhaps get Elina Garanca to play Mallika. Not only would I buy that on DVD - I'd try using 'any means possible' to see it live!!!
