  • I'm having a tough time getting along with my fellow Trekkies. I'm also fed up with all the belly aching over Abram's movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But while I hold TOS in high esteem I don't think it was the best. In terms of writing and acting I prefer TNG. As for the other series I'll keep my silence. My point is Trek can't please all the people all the time. But Trekkies are supposed to be open minded ... right?

  • Much better Scotty than the one in the pilot.

  • 2:29 CONTINUITY ERROR: Kirk's left arm.

  • @spacecowboy5000 abrams Star trek had a good design, good effects and a good story (except destroying Vulcan and,in the prime Universe Romulus) but the Ships were far too large (600m 1701, and the debris came from a much larger ship) and the weapons too strong.

  • I am hooked on this - what a great episode - stunning ideas.

  • Is this supposed to be a parodity? I really cannot take this xerox crap man.

  • spock totally just initiated amind meld without consent!

  • Jim Carrey couldn't have played a better Kirk.

  • Kirk needs to be played with a wry sense of humor, a swagger of confidence and the ability to laugh at himself. Shatner's Kirk was a fun loving, swashbuckling, hero, a man for all seasons. He took his job seriously and his only concern was the ship and it's crew, and he never, ever took himself too seriously. Oh, ya, and he loved the ladies and the ladies loved him, allot! But his main lady was the Enterprize. Nuff said!

  • This is a good production, but Cawley should have dropped the Elvis haircut.

  • azajkzea- You must be HIGH, first of all yes for being something of an amateur show like this it is pretty good, but to compare this to jj's film you are on drugs, and let me tell you something i have been a star trek fan longer than i could remember TOS is still the best, what jj did was unbelievable i am really sick and tire of people "crying" about how jj killed the star trek franchise, but in reality he saved it. You want to blame someone blame Rick Berman.
