LAVENDER REVOLUTION - a social media movement to end violence against women.

During past 5 years, more than 6,000 American women have been killed by their spouses and lovers in our own country.

This is more than the 4,000 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined during the same time period.

Domestic Violence is a WAR ZONE!

We cannot ignore this WAR against our daughters anymore.

Join the effort to END the gender war by volunteering at a Domestic Violence agency.

  • DV means nothing until you are the victim. When you are the victim, it does not matter gender. Yes, woman tend to be the victim and yes at times men are the victim. However, in general we do not know the signs and symptoms of DV. Since woman tend to be victimized more than men this education is more than appropriate however, I personally know both genders equally subjected to DV, its no fun. Please just view the info, learn, grow and share. With DV no one is the winner.

  • I just post your video in my facebook. My mom and I went through domestic violence, everything you said in video are true to words. Stop the domestic violence!

  • @mochafudgetruffle Thank you. I am sure you know many women prefer handsome men over ugly guys so there is no proof ugly guys can be abusive. I heard many times ugly guys treat women better.

  • I wish domestic violence programs would focus more on children, who are the most vulnerable victims of domestic violence.

  • @Boldman26 That is just stupid. Ugly men can be abusive as well. What makes you think only handsome men are prone to abusing women??

  • This is great and indeed has a powerful message, however I disagree with them only referring to him abusing her. It makes it seem as though it can only go one way.

  • A living is unclean it must some wrong.

If unwant help must not return. Depend on behaviour cycles kinds.

  • Yes, it is fact but still there is part of women's fault, too. Too many women turn down ugly guys for dangerous handsome men. Most women thought they can change men's bad behavior. They are wrong. Bad behavior of dangerous handsome men can never be changed, only turn into more violence. Probably half women can be saved if they don't turn down ugly guys.

  • Someone dislike this because he is the abuser!

  • Hi I think I left this comment. Also I do love book I want to show u my book. But I am on iPhone let me try add u on my addy book

  • verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse...the former is hard to heal...stays in your head all the time..drains your mind, your energy...lose your self esteem by hearing those words over and over again...hard to heal
