See how bright and vivid the colors are here? This must've been taken from an original ABC broadcast because since then in re-airings the show has all seemed *very* muted. To those of you unfamiliar, in the 1980's New Wave surf colors were incredibly popular until the end of cold war and apartheid. In the years since then, everything on television had become very depressed looking. However, recently as 2007 there was a change come about but then we had a writer's strike. Is neon communistic?

ABC was sitcom central back in the 80s and 90s because of Full House, Home Improvement, and Boy Meets World. Damn, I miss those days :)
