Before I bought that camera I was looking on YouTube for videos made on concerts, but I didn't find any.
The sound quality is very bad, which was one reason why I sent it back, apart from that I had a line of broken pixels in every image.
Not really what I wanted...

  • This video is recorded in HD? I'm sure that no. I have this camera and it is great!

  • @SpainCyrus No, as you can see it's not, but I doubt that the sound quality would be any better with HD video.

  • oh well.. if you want to film concerts why do you buy an digital camera ? this is made for pictures and not videos i got it and the sound quality is really NOT bad ! and of course if its too loud the sound will distort or whatever...and you said there were broken pixels...maybe a defect O_o ? anyways i like this camera much !

  • @4rgp oh well because you can't take DSLR's or camcorder's or whatever into the venues, security won't let you.

I'm sure you can have great fun with this camera, this is just a sample for people who might have the same intentions as I did.

  • Did you replace your Casio EX-H10 with another camera. I also have the Casio EX-H10 camera and it takes bad concert videos. Any suggestions on which camera to buy.

  • shit that was one of the main reasons i wanted this camera... any recomendations for cameras that r good for concert footage?

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH for this vid. I love going to gigs and want a camera suitable for that, was gonna buy the H15, but.. hm.. proably not! :P Panasonic Lumix tz7 seems better now, even tho the 1000 pic battery sounded great..

    Thanks anyway!

  • @DrSequoia Ok, a sample video is now online as a video response. Have fun ;)

  • @DrSequoia Ok, I'll get something ready in the next few days.

  • @CPScast

    Thanks, that's an interesting idea.

I haven't heard of this camera and it seems to be very nice: a powerful tool in such a small body.

I'd be happy to watch your sample vids.

  • @DrSequoia After returning that one I got the Canon PowerShot S90, mainly because of RAW shooting capabilities in such a small camera. I'm really happy so far. I didn't have the chance to do concert recording with it yet, but it was doing ok in nosy environments so far. Let me quickly upload a video for you... :D
