Play it Through - Guardian Legend Part 11

Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Guardian Legend brought to us by Compile. Guardian Legend combines two unique styles of gameplay into a great experience on the NES. In Guardian Legend you play as a guardian of earth sent to stop a large space station carrying different alien species from coming to Earth. You have to go through different corridors in order to activate a self destruction sequence. There is a total of 21 corridors with only eleven needing to be completed. In this run of the game I show all twenty one of the corridors and collect almost every weapon and upgrade available. Enjoy!!

This was a nice game, but not nessesary my kind of game. I get easily lost in mazes and I got confused during these videos. Otherwise I liked this Play It Through and game itself.

I also liked the heroine of this game. Cute girl (or girlrobot), who can transform into a jetfighter. Nice. Haven't seen this kind of characters much in games. What was her name againg because I forgot?

I also recall that when you ask most people that played a lot of games from that era (including myself) this was one of the most favorite game endings *cheers*

I always considered the ending to be in 2 parts. The first part was when the planet blew up. Butthen it's not over! there is still one last thing to do ! Escape alive and face the final boss who's out for bloody vengence ! Not too many games like that. at least not back then

The only really bad thing about this game is the ending, how can it NOT have a sequel? It fucking deserves one tbh.
