Closing libraries is part of a Con-Dem plot to keep the poor illiterate and uninformed. Raising University fees does this too.
I found "The Princess Bride" original novel in a library, buying it later when it was re-published. I also got the wonderful double album (LP) of the soundtrack to "American Grafitti" in a library.
When I first heard about cutting libraries on BBC Breakfast, I got so angry that I was still angry about it by the end of the work day.

@TheGreatSteve Get real mate, it was a global financial crisis caused by expedient banking and devious property policies, I'm not a Brown fan, but he really didn't cause this.
