Helsin's old body model without a head. At that time I was researching in cloth and cell-shading. I tried out the Pencil demo but unfortunately, the water mark was there. It's quite a nice shader to use but Xtoon is FREE!
The research took a long while and so... modeling took longer than animation. Nuts... In the course of 6 - 7 months, about 5 months is spent on the characters and environments while 1 month is spent on rigging which leave me quite little time to animate.
While others use Bipeds or bones, I used a mixture of both. Google "Biped to bone".
