Senator Joe Lieberman, ID-Conn., Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., spoke Thursday after the Senate passed the D.C. Voting Rights Act of 2009, which if enacted would finally give 600,000 Americans equal representation in Congress for the first time.
Wasnt that bill scrapped, after someone added an amendment, that would force DC to accept firearms in public places? I am confused.
