Ha! Yes, I think the "creative process" on EFLA went a lot like that.

Some films should NEVER have sequels. This is one of em. Escape from NEW YORK was a classic. This was a poor sequel. The only follow up I have ever been more impressed with than the first was T2. That was the business STILL IS.

I would be like to see screenwriters adding this scene to the script:"The huge tsunami appears, and Snake begins to ride it like he didn't do anything else in his life! And suddendly, totally from nowhere, Buscemi shows up, driving in this awesome red cadillac!
Can you pass me that bowl with cocaine, please?...Um where I stopped? O yeah! And while still surfing a tsunami, Snake does a high five to Fonda.AND BAM! He jumps right thru the Buscemi's car, when he drives at full speed in his caddilac!

@artistim That scene itself is absolute shit, however hilarious. Although i must say i love the movie itself.

I just watched 30 seconds of this clip and it's the most i'm ever gonna watch of the whole movie.
It looks like absolute shit.

Hey, this is basically Duke Nukem The Movie. It's not supposed to be serious.

Still miles better than Pierce Bronsan's surfing scene from Die Another Day. That was truly awful...this is awesome in a bad way.
More like the worst scene of the movie.

Everyone keep saying how bad this is. I see Kurt Russell and Peter Fonda surfing, while Steve Buscemi drives along the wave in a Carpenter film. What in God's name is so bad about this?
