It is not possible to download ring tones for your sidekick from anywhere other than the Download Catalog unless you're a developer for Danger OS and have a developer key, then you can just make your own ring tones (same procedure as making hinge sounds) and load them to your phone. I am not a developer.. Visit developer-dot-danger-dot-com for more info on becoming a developer.

Ive finished both the open and closing files, but I dont know where to go next, will this work for the sidekick 08?

Just place the sounds in your theme's folder and add the strings to the theme.txt file, if you don't know how to do this visit my blog, there's plenty information there on the Sktheme making procedure.
