Wizards In Winter Nerdmobile dressed for Santa Claus Parade West Lorne 2009

Nerds On Site Nerdmobile (2008 VW New Beetle) dressed for the West Lorne Santa Claus parade on Nov 27, 2009. Music is "Wizards in Winter" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Light controller is from D-Light Designs. Sequencer is Aurora from AuroraSoft, running on a Dell Mini-9 netbook. Outdoor speakers are mounted on the roof of the car and are powered by an old stereo receiver. If you want to try this yourself the light controller will not run properly on the output from a cheap power inverter. It seems to need close to a pure sine wave AC. I used an APC Back-UPS 1500 to power this show. It also powers the stereo. On a full charge it will run for close to 4 hours.
