I done the same thing with my SS 6.0 Crewman.
Two reasons, 1, I Agree with Koftas, the holden 5.0 was never that powerful & 2, Those Chev badges make the car look awesome & tougher.
Have a good look around, a lot of guys are doing the same thing.

in 04' the ls2 only had 297 kw's or so?
jeez the 6 liter in the VE SS puts out 270 and the HSV 6liter puts out 307 kws
when you compare the numbers and the timeframe its not that big of an improvement
does anyone know if the 7liter will be used in bathurst?

Dude i've owned both in the past ,the stock 5.0 was guttles, the Chev 350 had some punch ! That's why HSV turned to uncle Sam. Go Chev, Fuck Holden ! (i stripped the holden badges off my clubby & put chev ones on it)
