It appears as a good place to eat . How come this criminal Pehowa wala sadh is serving blood drenched pizzas in a langar! Sahme on the managers denigrating the customs of Guru Ka Langar.
@l13SINGH13l Meat is not eaten at langar so that all might feel welcome whatever their religion, even if meat is prohibited by it. To a Sikh, all are welcome to eat, whatever their religion or belief. Eating meat isn't the problem to a Sikh, eating sacrificial meat is because sacrificing a part of god is not acceptable nor is any form of religious ceremony, or at least that's the way it used to be. All are equal and godlike to the sikh, whatever their religion.
they all preached a no meat alcohol drug policy and the bani does statea that a Bhramgayani is Nirankar (GOD) so if these enlightened individuals said no then who r we to argue?
@aman113 hey not to be rude or anything but if the case is not to eat kutha then r u saying the guru sahibs ate meat? If this is the case y isnt meat being made in langars all around the world? why is it that all the Bhramgayani's that r known in the world (Baba Nand singh ji, Sant jarnail singh Bhinderawale, baba isher singh ji, etc ....
@VegetarianDatabase Guru Nanak Dev Ji has pointed out that plants as well as animals are living organisms. By making people aware of the difficulty of separating the animal and plant kingdoms he demonstrated how irrelevant diet was to spiritual development.
@VegetarianDatabase you said animals are part of god then what about plants? are they not part of god if they are why do you eat them, plants are leaving beings as well they are the starting point of the food chain then why people take them out of the ground and cook them? Don't u think thats murdering?
@aman113 one can be a vegetarian and still not get to god. by calling my examples hilarious you are going against the basic concepts of respect for others in sikhi. have some respect. i never said vegetarians are better, but i am saying that murdering living beings JUST for the taste is wrong, animals are a part of god too. once you realise all are a part of god you will realise that is wrong to kill ANY living being. i am saying nothing more in the matter.
@VegetarianDatabase Yes i do agree non veg is not part of the langar due to so many different kinds of people visting there however ur examples are hilarious, guru ji says masey jamey masey nimay hum masey ke pandey, mat pita ki ratak nipaney machi mass na khai. Guru ji here is trying to explain to us that people who say they don't eat meat and think they are greater in doing so are foolish who don't even realize they are eating it in another form.
